LCF Georgia Civics & Organizing Fellowship

Our Fellowship!

The LCF Georgia 2025 Civic Participation Fellowship Program aims to develop the next generation of Latino leaders and allies in civic engagement and community development. The program provides a comprehensive learning experience that includes a weekend-long training session on community organizing, community education, and civic leadership.

After completing the training, fellows will get the opportunity to join the team as Community Navigators, contributing to ongoing projects and campaigns with LCF Georgia and the Latinos for Democracy Coalition, dedicated to promoting and increasing civic participation in their communities. Fellows will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of activities, from voter registration drives to advocacy campaigns on social justice issues and health and wellness initiatives.

Moving forward, fellows have the opportunity to apply for up to $2,500 in funding to support a community service project benefiting the Latino community directly or to join the team at LCF Georgia as Community Navigators.

The 2025 program featured esteemed local leaders and academics, including Professor Yami Rodriguez, Gigi Pedraza, Anthony Pacheco, Michelle Zuluaga, Berenice Rodriguez, Pedro Viloria, Rafael Aragon, Kyle Gomez-Leineweber, Clara Richardson-Olguin, and Antonio Molina, who shared their insights and experiences with participants.
