About the Program: This is a FREE Fellowship Program that aims to build capacity within our community to organize, engage civically and build power so local students, parents, workers, and leaders can address their own local issues with knowledge and support. A portion of the program will focus on election participation and understanding the current legislative process and ways to engage.

The LCF Georgia 2024 Civic Participation Fellowship Program aims to develop the next generation of Latino leaders and allies for Latino communities in civic engagement and community development. The program provides a comprehensive learning experience that includes a weekend-long training session on community organizing, community education, and civic leadership followed by three weeks in the field putting those newly learned skills to work. The program also provides an opportunity to get funding for a community civic participation or organizing project at the end of the fellowship for any fellow that has successfully completed the program and has a drive to keep doing civic participation work.
